Fees
for online Students
When
you register you need to pay a registration fee and a fee for the modules
you decide to study in that year. In subsequent years you pay for any
new modules you choose to study or for the Project. (When you first
register you may, if you wish, pay a single payment covering the registration
fee and all the module fees.)
The
fees given below refer to the 2007-2008 academic year only and are subject
to annual review. When you register you can either pay the total amount
upfront or pay as you go (a one-off registration fee plus a fee for
each module).
The
only additional fee you will be required to pay, if you are taking examinations
outside London, is to your local examination authority or centre. This
fee will vary.

Part-time fees for all courses which have a part-time option are charged at 50% of the standard yearly full-time rate for that programme.

Students not resident in the UK or the EU are not normally permitted to register part-time. There are discounts for early payment of fees.

Special arrangements can be made for payment by instalment.

After the completion of three years full-time research, a reduced 'continuation' fee of £350 (2006/7) is available for one year if the thesis is considered to be at the 'writing up' stage of completion.
